Metric typography

I’ve been working on this typography piece for a while now. Inspired by the song “Help I’m Alive” by Metric (that song has been on my daily playlist for more than a month by now) and ofcourse, the metric system..

My pen craving

I’ve been having a craving for pen drawings lately.. I love the harsh black and white with maybe a splash of colour somewhere. These illustrations are some of the ones that made it to the web. I’m forcing myself to draw more so hopefully I’ll have more to show soon enough. Practice makes perfect right? Well perfect would be great but right now I’ll be happy with just more :) I’m also noticing a theme here: animals, flowers, women & electronics..

Inspiration:Storm, rain, clouds & wind We have been having stormy weather here in the Netherlands and that filled my mind with images of clouds, rain & wind. I collected some inspirational images for you all to see: Inside the cloud; Some days are better than others; Nothing but rain; Wind of color; We cannot control the wind; Little rain cloud; Cloud necklace; Storm in a tea; Adidas Chairman Ting; Raking leaves; Storm in a teacup.
